Sutton Foster is an award-winning artist, performer and dancer who has appeared in eleven Broadway shows - most recently the return of Violet and the originating parts in Broadway performances of The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performance in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Star Search was her first television appearance at the young age of 15. Her next appearances were in Bunheads and Psych in addition to Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. As a solo artist, Sutton has performed across the US and internationally, as well as along with the musical direction of Michael Rafter... featuring songs from her debut solo album "Wish" along with her second album "An Evening with Sutton Foster: Live at the Caf Carlyle." Sutton Foster has appeared on stage at Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub as well as many more. In 2011, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate degree in the form of an honorary doctorate from Ball State University where she is also on the faculty as a tutor and advisor to in the Department of Theatre and Dance. Her new TVLand series, "Younger," created by Darren Star began airing in March of 2015.
