Alison Wright was born in London, England. She was nominated for Emmy awards in 2017 because of her performance as Martha Hanson, the star of the FX's period-set spy show The Americans. She also acted as Bette & Joan & Hollywood in Ryan Murphy's limited-run series Feud. Wright was born on the 12th of July 1976, in Sunderland. The parents she adopted took care of her in the city. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She was a student at the famous Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute as well as The Barrow Group in New York City. Waitressing was her job while she tried out for roles. She had been scuba diving which was a love of hers, after suffering a heart episode at sea that left her in a in a coma. A few days later, she died at peace and her family by the bedside. Wright, who was born at Sunderland within Tyne and Wear on July 12th, 1976 was brought up there by her adoptive parents.
