She is most well-known for her role as Rita Bennett (as in Dexter) in which she was awarded the Satellite Award for Outstanding Actress in the Series (or Mini-Series). She was a star of the television show No Ordinary Family, which aired from May 13, to its end on May 13. Her most famous parts was Darla on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. She played the role of Alex Jensen the secretary of Sheldon Cooper (one of the leading characters portrayed by Jim Parsons) in the show The Big Bang Theory. She has also appeared in shows such as Bent Betas, NCIS and Bent Betas where she played Delilah Fielding. Harshman was successful with The Even Stevens Movie and other films in which she was mostly in supporting roles, also appears in many others.
